    Located on 60 beautiful acres, Mater Dei Prep provides a safe, secure and technologically-advanced environment with a football field and state-of-the-art track, baseball, softball and soccer fields and a basketball gymnasium. The school also offers a dance studio, piano lab and a new Writing and Math lab to support their students.  Saint Mary’s School and Mary, Mother of God Church are also located on campus. Learn more

    Mater Dei Prep students perform an average of 100 hours of volunteer Christian service in the community each year. Many students develop and implement new programs that continue to support community outreach even after they graduate. Learn more

    Mater Dei Prep offers the only comprehensive, in-house instructional program in the Diocese of Trenton designed to address the differences in student learning. The CFA allows students to succeed in our college preparatory curriculum while working within their unique learning style. In 2017, Mater Dei Prep opened the Writing and Math Lab to further support all Mater Dei Prep students.  Learn more

    Mater Dei Prep students learn to lead in the classroom, on the field and in the community. We offer leadership opportunities in academic societies (National Honor Society), through the Emerging Global Leaders program (United Nations), sports programs (team captains), retreat programs (Kairos), clubs and off-campus conferences (HOBY Foundation).     Mater Dei Prep boasts an award-winning performing arts department which has garnered 80 Count Basie award nominations and 22 wins over the last 8 years. Our plays and musicals are performed at professional theaters in Monmouth County (Middletown Arts Center) and we offer an on-site dance studio for rehearsals. Learn more

    Mater Dei Prep student-athletes are part of a tradition of excellence. 81%  of our students participate in our 22 varsity sports. 97% of our students participate in an extracurricular activity.     Mater Dei Prep works in partnership with both Seton Hall University and Brookdale Community College to offer a variety of accredited college courses to our students during the school year. The College Advantage Program more than prepares students for college—it offers the college classroom experience now. Students graduate from Mater Dei Prep with a significant advantage in college placement, admissions, and graduation status while saving money in college. Mater Dei Prep students earn an average of 13 college credits through the program. Many students regularly graduate with 20 or more earned credits. Learn more
