The Mater Dei Prep Athletic Department strives to teach student-athletes to become leaders and people of integrity. We are committed to providing every student with the opportunity to compete in interscholastic athletics at a highly competitive level. We sponsor 22 varsity teams which regularly compete for division titles in the Shore Conference.
Our athletic program is also breaking new ground with the addition of exciting new programs such as mens' lacrosse and womens' lacrosse. The goal of all our programs is to field the most competitive teams while maintaining a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and respect.
Catholic values are at the core of our athletic program. Students develop and apply moral virtues through athletic participation and competition. Additionally, opportunities for community service and charity are a vital part of a student athlete’s experience at Mater Dei Prep.
