arts Overview

Our programs in the Visual and Performing Arts encourage students to perceive and think in innovative and imaginative ways. Creativity, reasoning, intuition and art-specific skills are all developed as students build bridges between verbal and non-verbal communication.

Students become informed, reflective and critical practitioners in the arts with opportunities to create and perform, both in and outside the classroom. Whether part of the curriculum or as a club activity, participation includes a number of venues: portfolio development, assemblies, cabarets, plays, musicals, festivals, concerts, competitions and scholarship opportunities.
