Mater Dei Prep Alumni Connect At First Professional Networking Event
On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, over fifty Mater Dei Prep alumni enjoyed connecting with their classmates and Seraph colleagues at the first Mater Dei Prep Alumni Professional Networking event at Red Rock Tap + Grill in Red Bank, NJ.
Mater Dei Prep graduates from 1968 through 2012 were in all in attendance for the first Alumni Professional Networking event and enjoyed food and drinks on the private deck at Red Rock. Men and women with varying degrees and graduation years socialized and shared career stories, what they valued about their time at Mater Dei Prep, and fun Mater Dei Prep memories from their days on campus. Alumni also had the opportunity to meet Donald Galante, the new Mater Dei Prep President, and other members from the Administrative team.
Christine Shea-Ryan, president of Solari Creative, is a valued partner of Mater Dei Prep and was instrumental in bringing the first Alumni Professional Networking event to fruition. “It was wonderful to be part of Mater Dei Prep’s first Alumni Professional Networking event. Mater Dei Prep has produced so many impressive and successful alumni spanning several decades. As a graduate of the class of 1990, it gives me great pride in our Alma Mater that they are seeking to be of service to its alumni this many years later. I look forward to more events with Mater Dei Prep as they continue to develop future outreach opportunities,” said Christine Shea-Ryan.
The Professional Networking event was organized by Steve Andersen, Associate Head of School, and Jen DeBiase, Associate Director of Development & Director of Technology. The night would not have been possible without their hard work and the generosity of the event sponsors. Mater Dei Prep thanks Red Rock Tap + Grill, Super Foodtown Circus Fresh Foods, Joseph T. Buzzanco DMD, Solari Creative, and White Dove Cleaners for sponsoring this wonderful event.
“This was a great night at Red Rock in Red Bank, NJ and it was an outstanding venue for a spring rooftop event. Paul Marcotte and his team were wonderful hosts. We want to thank all of our alumni for coming out and making a Mater Dei Prep memory. The first ever Alumni Professional Networking event was a great success to build on. Go Seraphs,” said Steve Andersen.
The Mater Dei Prep Development team looks forward to seeing all the Mater Dei Prep alumni at the upcoming Golf Outing on Friday, July 13, 2018, hosted by the Alumni Association. For additional information or to register for the upcoming Golf Outing, please click here.
“Pride in our Past – Faith in our Future. Mater Dei Prep is showing that this is more than just a tagline. It is Mater Dei Prep’s approach going forward and an indication of great things to come,” said Christine Shea-Ryan.
