    Mater Dei Prep, located in Middletown, New Jersey, is seeking candidates for a President to be appointed by July 1, 2019.

    Mater Dei Prep is a faith-based college preparatory school dedicated to fostering individuality, diversity, and growth within an intimate and inclusive community, and to empowering its students to succeed by developing their intellectual, spiritual, social, artistic, and physical well-being in accordance with the Roman Catholic tradition. With an average enrollment of 350 students, Mater Dei Prep serves 28 local communities and over 30 elementary schools in Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties.

    The school’s rigorous academic program features four Academic Institutes: Information Technology, Global Leaders, Performing Arts, and Emergency Medical Services and Nursing, as well as a robust dual enrollment program with Seton Hall University and Brookdale Community College preparing students to succeed in college and beyond. Mater Dei Prep is accredited by Middle States, AdvancEd and the National Catholic Education Association. Situated on a beautiful 60-acre campus, the school is home to an award winning Performing Arts Program and a Shore Conference athletic program.

    Mater Dei Prep is a stand-alone qualified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation managed by an independent Board of Trustees acting as fiscal and operational stewards over the school; the Diocese of Trenton provides ecclesiastical guidance.

    The President will have the unique opportunity to chart a course for a school that is rooted in 50 years of tradition while seeking to position itself for generations to come. To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate that they can operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and lead with confidence.

    The President, while serving as the Chief Executive Officer, will have oversight focused on the development, advancement, community relationships, operations, enrollment, academics, extracurricular activities, and curriculum and instruction. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, a prospective President will provide the administrative leadership, oversight, and support necessary to ensure the success of the School. Candidates should have an understanding of institutional advancement, financial disciplines and planning, educational leadership, curriculum and staff development, faculty recruitment, and an outcome-based student improvement model, with the capacity to serve as an ambassador in relationship-building with alumni and potential donors. Strong experience as a high school administrator is preferred.  

    Education and Experience:

    Candidates must be practicing Roman Catholics and possess advanced degrees at the Master’s level or higher. A minimum of five years of demonstrated success in academic administration and an understanding of the Independent School environment is desirable. Experience should include classroom teaching, experience in holding staff to high expectations and holding people accountable for performance. Highly valued is the ability to relate to students, their families, and all constituents of the school and translating that ability into advancing the mission of the school and garnering the financial support necessary to enhance the program, reward excellence in staff, and the development of facilities.

  • Business Office Enrollment Associate

    The Business Office Enrollment Associate will support the business and enrollment office. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a general knowledge of private school contracts, the enrollment process, and excellent data management, organization and oral communication skills.   This role will serve as a critical bridge between the Admissions Office and Business Office.
     
    • Act as a bridge from the Admissions Office to the Business Office by keeping accurate school re-enrollment and enrollment data reports.
    • Manage the financial aid process for perspective and re-enrolling students. This includes: communicating financial aid process and status to constituents, reviewing financial aid filings, communicate financial aid, and manage financial aid appeal process.
    • Create and manage enrollment contracts. Work collaboratively with the Admissions Officer to ensure enrollment contracts are created and communicated to incoming families.
    • Manage the re-enrollment process. This includes: communicating re-enrollment process and status with families, creation of contracts, re-enrollment in SMART tuition, follow-up with families and update records.
    • Manage delinquent tuition accounts. Follow-up with families in arrears and hold them accountable to MDP tuition policy with the support of the Administration.
    • Have a working knowledge of QuickBooks and general accounting procedures.
    • Create reports as directed by the Administration on enrollment finance outcomes.
     
     
     
     
     
  • Webmaster/ Marketing Associate

    Job Description
    The webmaster is a member of the marketing team, and an expert in supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the school’s website, marketing analytics and digital marketing assets. This individual will work collaboratively with all departments to effectively communicate the school’s distinguishing features and advance the school’s positive image.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Develops and maintains functionality, appearance and accuracy of Mater Dei Prep’s website, reputation and brand management through media outreach
    • Maintain and implement changes and updates, images, and most current messaging.
    • Create campus-wide advertisements for admissions, development, enrichment and camp programs; develop and post press releases
    • Work collaboratively with technology coordinator to maintain content integrity, conducting random audits of live site content.
    • Develops and maintains Mater Dei Prep’s social media websites.
    • Optimizes website exposure by analyzing search engine patterns to direct online placement of keywords or other content.
    • Manages tracking and reporting of search-related activities and provides analyses to administration.
    • Assists in the creation and delivery of internal and external communications such as newsletters and webinars as needed.
    • Creates campaign tools such as landing pages, email campaign templates, student, teacher and parent support tools, mobile, display banners and online school advertisements.
    • Assists with both print and digital marketing media; work collaboratively with our marketing company (Solari).
    • Maintain any additional applications that coexist with our Website and Student Information Systems.
     
     
    Education: Associate, Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
     
    Experience:
    • Experience in designing websites.
    • Experience preferred in student information systems such as Genesis, Real Time and PowerSchool, and website development tools such as Edlio.
    • Understanding and use of web metrics and how to gauge performance.
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with web marketing best practices.
  • Religion Teacher- Part-time
