Mater Dei Prep student Delaney Patrick creates video honoring the work of Dr. Jane Goodall
George Anthony, Head of The Global Leaders program and Co Chair to The United Nation's International Day of Peace Committee, teams up with Delaney Patrick, MDP junior and Pathways To Peace UN CSW Delegate, honoring the birthday of Dr. Jane Goodall through the #BecauseofJane social media platform. Shawn Sweeney, VP Jane Goodall Institute U.S.A., was impressed and forwarded the video to Dr. Goodall. Dr. Jane Goodall serves as a UN Messenger of Peace and many MDP Global Leaders have had the opportunity to meet and be impacted by her at UN Conferences. The Global Leaders Program is currently preparing for the September 18th, 2020 UN IDP Conference where they hope to play a role as peace builders on a local and global stage.
