Mater Dei Prep Welcomes its Two Newest Members to the Mater Dei Prep Board of Trustees


Kathryn McLaughlin, Chair of the Board of Trustees, is pleased to announce that Courtney Coppotelli (MD ‘98) and Justin Lotano (MD ‘02) have joined the Board. Ms. McLaughlin, noted, “The Board is comprised of an exceptional and dedicated roster of individuals who generously give their time in service of Mater Dei’s core mission. We are grateful to Courtney and Justin for bringing their unique capabilities to the Board, especially in marketing and finance, which will add depth and strength in key strategic areas.”

Ms. Coppotelli is currently Vice President of Partnership Activation for Major League Baseball. Overall, Ms. Coppotelli has more than 18 years of MLB-affiliated experience in sponsorship, marketing and management. She is a graduate of Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business, where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in marketing. Among other activities, Ms. Coppotelli is also involved in MLB Women Business Resource Group, Women in Sports and Events (WISE), and also served as a mentor for Mater Dei Prep Women’s Leadership Initiative inaugural event.

Mr. Lotano, CRPC/CDFA, is currently Associate Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors, Red Bank, New Jersey. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Lotano worked for Ameriprise Financial for ten years. Mr. Lotano holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Loyola University in Baltimore. He has also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM, or CRPC®, certification by meeting rigorous professional standards and passing a comprehensive examination from the College for Financial Planning, and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA). Mr. Lotano is also actively engaged in community and charitable events, and serves as President of the Colts Neck Lions Club.

Ms. McLaughlin concluded, “This year, Mater Dei celebrates its 60th year of excellence in Catholic education. With the addition of Justin and Courtney to our current Board, we will continue to be well-situated for current initiatives and for executing the school’s long-term strategic plan for the next 60 years of operation.”
