We invite the Mater Dei Prep community to extend a warm Seraph welcome to Ms. Danielle DiVincent, our new Director of Institutional Advancement

With over a decade of experience in education, Ms. DiVincent arrives well supported; heralded as a consummate professional with broad experience in the classroom, on the field as a coach, and with school administration and board of Trustees. She completed her undergraduate degree in English and Secondary Education at Monmouth University and earned her Master’s Degree in Education Administration and Leadership from Georgian Court University. Ms. DiVincent spent the last six years of her career in independent school education as a valued member of the Rutgers Preparatory School community. Prior to Rutgers Preparatory School, Ms. DiVincent also taught in both the public and parochial sectors of education. She is passionate about Catholic education and the personal value systems developed in our students; values that she considers to be invaluable to success in today’s world: Faith, Knowledge, Service, Community, and Family.

Ms. DiVincent is passionately connected to the communities that she becomes a part of and was particularly drawn to Mater Dei due to its reputation and mission of being a close-knit family. At Rutgers Preparatory School, Ms. DiVincent involved herself with many things beyond the classroom; she coached varsity as well as middle school sports, initiated and moderated a middle school community service program, served as a faculty representative to the Board of Trustees, chaired and served on numerous committees, and most recently brought Heart and Sole, a girl’s leadership program from the nonprofit Girls on the Run organization to Rutgers Prep.

Through her work with Rutgers Prep’s Board of Trustees, Ms. DiVincent was first exposed to the integral role that Institutional Advancement - Admissions, Development and Marketing and Communications - plays in an independent school’s success. Her philosophy is a holistic one, approaching her new role with the intention of getting to know all school constituents from students to parents, to faculty, to alumni, and, Board of Trustees, all of whom play a vital role in making Mater Dei Prep the exceptional place that it is. Working cooperatively with Marketing and Admissions, Ms. DiVincent will engage in community outreach, extending the Mater Dei brand throughout Monmouth County and to counties beyond.

Ms. DiVincent brings with her creativity, passion and “grit.” Reporting to Steven Andersen, MDP Chief Operating Officer, and working collaboratively as a member of the Advancement Team, she is committed to the plans, goals, and objectives established by the Board of Trustees, to continue to move Mater Dei Prep forward in the competitive market. With her team-oriented mindset, she will work collaboratively with members of the community while also establishing new external partnerships.

“I feel blessed to be joining a community that is truly student-centered. I can see that members of the Mater Dei family take pride in the school’s history and its traditions and the same people that shared these stories are equally as invested in making new memories that will be told for the future generations of Seraphs! I am grateful and overjoyed to be granted this role, and I look forward to serving Mater Dei Prep as a stake-holder, resource, messenger, supporter, and advisor.”

We are excited to welcome Danielle DiVincent to our Advancement Team, as well as the greater Mater Dei Community, and we offer her our support and “grit” as we work together to continue to build the MDP for the future.
