SPRING INTO SUMMER 5K RACE

The 9th Annual Spring Into Summer 5K will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012. There will also be a 1 mile run and races for kids. Cyber-Bullying Solutions and Internet Safety
April 20

A presentation will be given by Sgt. Thomas Rich, a certified police officer in the State of New Jersey for the past 15 years. Sgt. Rich was recently featured on Good Morning America as an internet safety expert and has spoken to over 40,000 people in the last 3 years in regards to cyber-bullying. Sgt. Rich recently spoke at the Elks Convention at the Ocen Place Hotel in Long Branch. Several MDP students attended this convention and were so impressed with his presentation they invited him to speak here at Mater Dei Prep. This presentation will be held in Mary, Mother of God Church. Parents are welcome to attend.

INTERNET SAFETY PRESENTATION AT ST. MARY SCHOOL, NEW MONMOUTH

On Tuesday night, March 13, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and Detective Richard Shin of the Computer Crimes Unit will be conducting an Internet Safety Presentation. This lecture deals with issues including text messaging, cell phone safety, MySpace, Facebook and cyber bullying.
